OOTP Baseball Classic League Updates

After 24 hrs of a rage quit, I've decided it's too much work to try to start the league over again. Plus this is the only game I wanna play. So into round 2 I go. Apologize to Ben, for the White Sox loss..but hopefully the 05 White Sox do well in this league.

After a crash last night, I've decided to restart the league. The crash was intentional but I didn't save my last game with the Astros-White Sox so it screwed up that result. I was just so pissed so I automated the game and the Astros ended up winning. The reason I intentionally crashed it was because the player pawns was somehow switched to off! I probably overreacted. But I think I might be burnt out. So I am taking a break. I'll be back soon with this league restarted. This will mark about the 3rd or 4th time I've restarted this league for various reasons.

With the 76 Reds World Series win, they move on to play a whole new list of teams.

Pirates force a Game 7....as I would've suspect with these 2 teams...

Pitcher's duel at Three Rivers and a sac fly wins it for Pittsburgh. They are up 2-1 now in NLCS.

Even in front of the home crowd at Yankee Stadium, the Yankees got shellacked by the 1995 Mariners 7-1. Tim Belcher pitched a 3 hitter as Yogi Berra had the lone HR for NY. Mariners can wrap up the ALCS at Yankee Stadium tomorrow night.

Vic Raschi had 11 k's for the 52 Yankees but Seattle was hitting on all cylinders today. Tino Martinez, a future Yankee, clubbed a 3 run HR. Mantle hasn't done anything this series so far. The series goes to Yankee Stadium now with a Mariner 2-0 series lead.

Two high octane offenses were in a shoot out today in Cincinnati. The 1991 Pirates take game 1 of the NLCS 11-9.

In a pitcher's duel, the 1995 Mariners win it on a sac fly by Dan Wilson to score Edgar Martinez. Martinez stole 2nd after getting on with a single. Seattle leads ALCS 1-0.

A pitcher's duel and a lone Mantle HR wins the AL East title from the 25 Senators! The defending champs Senators will not repeat as champs!

The last games have been played and most divisions are decided. There will be a one game playoff between the 52 Yankees and defending champs 25 Senators to see who wins the AL East.

With 1 more game left in the season, here's the latest. Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Seattle have all won their divisions. The AL East is up for grabs now! The defending champs Senators with Yankees and Orioles could win it.
