SENATORS WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!
The 1925 Washington Senators are your new BCL World Series champs!
They defeated the 1977 Los Angeles Dodgers 5-3 at Dodger Stadium in an afternoon game behind a couple of Ossie Bluege doubles and decent pitching from George Mogridge and Dutch Ruether. The Dodgers get the series' first and only home run in a losing cause. The Dodgers did lead this game at one point and tried to make a game of it, but Washington too the once hot Doug Rau out in the 6th and kept LA from scoring anymore. The Dodgers were the comeback kids of the NLCS and end of regular season with defeats of the 1906 Chicago Cubs and 1909 Pittsburg Pirates but Washington proved too much for them.
The Senators move onto the next BCL League which is close to being set.
Series MVP was Joe Judge.
