My dad's 2 picks..

My dad suggested the 1958 Yankees and 1946 Cardinals....but I used the 42 Cards since they were higher on the Elo ratings. He's a big Yankee fan. So at Sportsman Park, the 58 Yankees come back to defeat the 42 Cards 5-4. Great pitching from Mort Cooper kept the Yankees virtually hitless until the 6th inning when Hank Bauer crushed a 3 run bomb to put the Yankees up 4-3. The 1958 squad never looked back and finally won with a save from Bobby Shantz. I get a feeling both of these teams will be contenders in this league.
